Tomorrow’s Chefs

Are you between the ages of 8 and 14?  Do you like to eat?  Do you like to cook?  Or would you like to learn how to cook?

Here is your chance!

Join us at Tomorrow’s Chefs!  It’s a 5 session cooking program for young people.  You will learn basic food safety skills, cooking and baking and reading recipes – and much more.

The sessions are planned and run by a group of students who have tons of experience in cooking programs at the health centre.  Leading the team is Jessie, a graduate of the food and nutrition program at Western University (Brescia College).  Each session builds on the previous one, so we request that participants come for all 5.

Sessions happen on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, staring on February 21st at the Oxford County Community Health Centre – from 6 to 8:30pm.

Register today by emailing Jessie or Trevor  or you can call 519-539-1111 ext. 215.

This program is sponsored by the United Way of Oxford.
