Our physiotherapists begin by performing an assessment to learn about your medical history, and then perform physical tests to determine what might be going on and how they can best help you. Based on their assessment results, they provide individualized treatment plans, including: education, exercises, goal setting and modalities (e.g., manual therapy, TENS, IFC etc.) with the goal to helping you to maintain or improve your overall physical function and quality of life.
We have two physiotherapy programs.
Primary Care Physiotherapy
Our Primary Care Physiotherapist provides individualized physiotherapy care to people who are registered with one of our Family Doctors or Nurse Practitioners. She also runs group programs for any interested community members (e.g. walking program, chronic pain and osteoporosis groups). You can learn about upcoming groups by calling us at (519) 539-111, or by clicking here.
