Physiotherapy

Our physiotherapists begin by performing an assessment to learn about your medical history, and then perform physical tests to determine what might be going on and how they can best help you. Based on their assessment results, they provide individualized treatment plans, including: education, exercises, goal setting and modalities (e.g., manual therapy, TENS, IFC etc.) with the goal to helping you to maintain or improve your overall physical function and quality of life.

At the Oxford County Community Health Centre, we have two  physiotherapy programs.

1. Physiotherapy for People who see our Physicians and Nurse Practitioners:

Angela Rizzo is our primary care physiotherapist who provides individualized physiotherapy care to those who see their doctor or nurse practitioner at our Centre.  She also occasionally runs group programs for the community members (e.g. walking program, chronic pain and osteoporosis groups) alongside other team members of the Centre.
